Each year the parish participates in National Rebuilding Day. We assist a disabled and/or a low-income family by repairing and sprucing up their home. Team St. Bart's gathers one Saturday in April to help spruce up a home. Are you looking for an interesting and rewarding hands-on outreach experience? Volunteers, skilled and unskilled, are always welcome to make the project go smoothly.
Rebuilding Together Washington County, affiliated with a national organization, is a leading non-profit volunteer group that, in partnership with the community, preserves and rehabilitates the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, those with disabilities, families with dependent children, and veterans, so that they may continue to live in their own homes – warm, safe, and independent. St Bart’s is an official house sponsor and through your Parish contributions, we donate funds each year toward this important effort.
